Vida started as a small home office consultancy, building a client base from scratch. Principals Anna Cosio and David Keogh had previously worked together as Database Marketing Director and Creative Director respectively at what was then Australia's largest independent Direct Marketing (DM) agency.

Originally building business with clients such as HSBC Bank Australia, Tennis NSW and Hasbro, Vida also struck up strategic alliances with mainstream and online ad. agencies providing DM services as required. That led to a three-year partnership with WPP via the Batey Group. During that time Vida was located in Batey Kazoo's harbour-side offices at The Rocks.

In 2004, Vida decided to move offices to Manly - prestige premises set in paradise, and just 15 minutes from the city by 'Jet Cat' across the Harbour. The agency now works on a wide range of accounts in categories as diverse as Subscription TV, music and entertainment, fundraising, energy services, environmental engineering, ambient media and animal welfare.

Vida also runs a division specialising in Corporate Social Responsibility called GoodKarma, a specialty Music Marketing arm called Perfect Pitch and an online community connecting people through sport and other activities – DoubleDrummer.com
